PC game of this year. Grand Theft Auto V is an action-adventure, open world video game published by Rockstar Games and developed by Rockstar North ( Obviously, You know this). It was released on 17 September 2013 (My birthday) for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, on 18 November 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on 14 April 2015 for Microsoft Windows. The game is the first main entry in the Grand Theft Auto series after Grand Theft Auto IV (2008). Set within the fictional state of San Andreas (based on Southern California), the single-player story follows three criminals and their efforts to commit heists while under pressure from a government agency. The open world design lets players freely roam San Andreas's open countryside and fictional city of Los Santos, based on Los Angeles. Looks like every other GTA game. Hell no!
Overview :
The game can be played from either a 1st-person or 3rd-person view. Players control the three lead protagonists throughout the single-player mode, switching between them both during missions and on his will. Composed of the San Andreas open countryside area and the fictional city of Los Santos, the world of Grand Theft Auto V is much larger in area than earlier entries in the series.The world is fully exploitable from the beginning of the game without restrictions, but ore gameplay content is unlocked with single player progress.To accommodate the map's size, the game introduces vehicles absent in its predecessor Grand Theft Auto IV, such as fixed-wing aircraft. In combat, auto-aim and a cover system can be used as assistance against enemies. Now it looks bigger, doesn't it.
Many new improvements have been added to the game:
The single-player mode lets players control three characters: Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips and Franklin Clinton.Some missions are completed with only one character and others feature two or three. Players may switch between the protagonists at will by means of a directional compass on the HUD. The game may switch between characters automatically in single-player missions to complete certain objectives. A character's compass avatar will flash red if he is in danger and needs help, and flash white if he has a strategic advantage. Though players complete missions as any of the three protagonists, the more difficult heist missions require aid from AI-controlled accomplices with unique skill sets, such as computer hacking or driving. If an accomplice survives a successful heist, they take a cut from the cash reward and may be available for later missions with improvements to their unique skills. The game encourages differentiation in heist mission strategies—for example, in a holdup mission, players may either stealthily subdue civilians with an incapacitating agent or conspicuously storm the venue with guns drawn.
Each character has a set of eight skills that represent their ability in certain areas such as shooting and driving. Though players improve characters' skills as they play, each character has a skill with expertise by default (i.e. Trevor's flying skill). The eighth "special" skill determines the effectiveness in performing an ability that is unique to each respective character. Michael enters bullet time in combat, Franklin slows down time while driving, and Trevor deals twice as much damage to enemies while taking half as much in combat. A meter on each character's HUD depletes when an ability is being used and regenerates when players perform skilful actions (for example, drifting in vehicles as Franklin or pulling off headshots as Michael).
While free roaming the game world, players may engage in context-specific activities such as scuba diving underwater or BASE jumping via parachute. Each character has a smartphone for contacting friends, starting activities and accessing an in-game Internet. The Internet lets players trade in stocks via a stock market. Players may purchase properties such as homes and businesses, upgrade the weapons and vehicles in each character's arsenal, and customize their appearance by purchasing outfits, haircuts, tattoos and jewellery.

Storyline :
Michael Townley is living as Michael De Santa under witness protection after 9 years of a botched robbery in ludendroff. He lives in Los Santos, San Andreas and has left the world of crime. He meets Franklin Clinton when he tries to fraud his son’s car. The two become friends. Michael finds out that his wife has been sleeping with her tennis coach. He turns rogue and sets of to kill him. He chase the coach to a mansion and destroys it, being unaware of the proprietor of the mansion who is the girlfriend of the Mexican Drug Lord Martin Madrazo. In order to pay the compensation of the mansion, Michael retuens to his criminal life. He enlists Franklin as his accomplice and together they rob a jewellery shop. Trevor Phillips, who was the sole survivor of the bank heist in ludendroff recognizes Michael’s job and tracks him down in Los Santos.
Michael is left by his family. His attempts to make something of himself result in his conflicts with Devin Weston, a self-made billionaire. He vows revenge against Michael when his lawyer dies in an accident that is allegedly done by Michael. Trevor makes himself enemies with the Triad leader Wei Cheng by making efforts to consolidate his control over the black market and Franklin is busy in helping his friend Lamar Davis to escape from the death Jaws of Harold ‘Stretch’ Joseph.
Steve Haines and Dave Norton who are FIB (Federal Investigation Bureau) agents, contact Michael and demand him to perform operations with Franklin and Trevor. They attack an armoured convoy containing funds for IAA (International Affairs Agency) which is a rival agency. They also raid a bank which contains payrolls of all corrupt officials in Los Santos. When Haines comes under scrutiny due to his methods, he asks Michael to takeout any evidence in the FIB headquarters after infiltrating it. Michael takes this opportunity to erase the track of his activities also, thus, destroying Haines’ leverage over him.
Michael begins to live with his family again. But Trevor finds out that he had turned out state witness and he starts creating rift in the group which threatens their Union Depository’s gold bullion reserve heist which was their biggest heist ever. Michael is betrayed by Haines and is caught in a standoff between the FIB, IAA and private security firm Merryweather. Trevor helps him escape and holds that only he has the right to kill him. He agrees to perform the heist and part ways with Michael afterwards. The heist is a success.
Climax :
GTA V has one of the most epic game climaxes. Franklin is approached by 2 parties and they demand him to kill Trevor and Michael. Haines and Norton believe Trevor to be a liability and Weston demands the death of Michael. Now Franklin has 3 options :
- Kill Trevor - Franklin sets up a meeting with Trevor and tells him that how one of the trios have been a danger for the group and Trevor also begins to talk against Michael. But when Franklin aims the gun towards Trevor and says that he is the one, Trevor is shocked. Its pretty clear that he doesn't die this way. A chase sequence begins and Franklin calls Michael for help. Michael arrives for help and both of them finally get Trevor cornered and injured, laying around the Oil truck he was driving. He exclaims that Franklin and Michael are Judases and asks Franklin to shoot. If you wont shoot then Michael will and the tanker is set on fire, burning Trevor to death. Afterwards, Michael and Franklin remain friends but Michael asks Franklin for sometime to get over all of this. Trevor's share in the heist is distributed among both of them.
- Kill Michael - Franklin sets up a meeting with Michael. But he begins to talk suspiciously and Michael understands that he has been sent to kill him. A chase begins. Franklin asks Trevor for help but he refuses and says that he is done with betrayers. Finally, Franklin overpowers Michael and pushes him of a tower before grabbing his hand. He regrets his decision as Michael says that he was the one to give him a chance and finally you are given two option release Michael or pull him. If you decide to pull him he would smash you with his head and fall to his death. Trevor asks Franklin to stay away from him and Michael's family knows that Franklin killed him. Her wife messages him to stay away from her family and he would rot in hell. Michael's Family receives Michael's share in the heist.
- Death-wish - Don't kill either of them and kill all of your enemies for once and for all with the help of Michael and Trevor. All three remain friends and Michael and Trevor reconcile.

Conclusion :
The game has changed every aspect of normal Grand Theft Auto Games. It brings much more new features than ever before and a more gripping storyline. The graphics are mesmerizing. Sound Tracks are awesome. It feels like you are living the game. Its a masterpiece. The smallest things have been changed. If u were to hit someone with your car he would comment on you. Its normal if you get dreams about the game. With a rating of 10 by IGN, the game will make you forget sleeping, drinking, eating and pissing. The best game played by me and the PC game of the year 2015 - 'GRAND THEFT AUTO - V'.
